Effective 1 September 2026
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Subscriptions are paid in advance for a defined period. This policy sets out when a payment can be refunded and how cancellation works.
1.Cancellation
You may cancel from the billing page at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; your desk, tracked codes and report archive remain available until then, and delivered reports remain accessible afterwards.
Because there is no automatic recurring debit, no further charge will be taken after cancellation.
2.Refunds within seven days
If no research request has been submitted on the subscription, you may request a full refund of the current period within seven days of payment. Write to the desk from the email address on the account; refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay within five to seven working days of approval.
3.Refunds after a request has been filed
Once a brief has been accepted by an analyst, work has begun on your behalf and the period is non-refundable. Reports already delivered remain yours.
Where we are unable to fulfil an accepted request — for example because the required records are not available for the period requested — we will offer either a replacement brief or a pro-rata refund for that report allowance, at your election.
4.Duplicate or failed payments
If a payment is captured more than once for the same period, the duplicate is refunded in full automatically once identified. If a payment fails after funds were debited, the amount is reversed by Razorpay to the original method, typically within five to seven working days.
5.Plan changes
Upgrading mid-period starts a new subscription immediately and supersedes the previous one; the unused portion of the previous period is not refunded, but its remaining report allowance is honoured by the desk for the balance of that period. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
6.Contact
Refund requests and questions about this policy should be sent to desk@sealine.research with your account email and the Razorpay payment reference shown on the billing page.
